The Corporate Counsel Role

Join Qlik’s global legal team as Counsel, focusing on supporting our worldwide channel business, including partner and alliance programs. In this dynamic role, you'll handle end-to-end transactional work, negotiate and draft SaaS and software agreements, consulting service agreements, vendor contracts, and provide general advisory on intellectual property, privacy, and compliance. As part of a global team, you’ll engage with diverse stakeholders and play a key role in the growth and evolution of our partner and channel programs.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Qlik’s business operations, directly impacting global partner programs, crafting essential agreements, and guiding strategic transactions. From navigating complex SaaS contracts to ensuring our global compliance with data privacy and IP standards, you’ll be essential in shaping how we serve our partners and clients while expanding Qlik’s global reach.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Develop, design, and negotiate partner and alliance program documents, agreements, and OEM partnerships.
• Negotiate and draft complex SaaS, software licensing, services, vendor contracts, and NDAs, always balancing business goals with acceptable risk and compliance.
• Support multiple business lines, including education, consulting services, and public sector contracts, ensuring consistency across global policies and agreements.
• Offer general legal support and training to teams, anticipating challenges and proactively resolving issues.
• Drive consistency across regions by collaborating with global legal colleagues to maintain templates, policies, and procedures.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• 1-3 years of experience in transactional and channel work, with expertise in SaaS and software agreements (experience in a software/SaaS company or technology law firm is ideal).
• Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills, with business-level English proficiency.
• Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to think independently.
• Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure with high attention to detail.
• Qualified legal status in England & Wales or an EU jurisdiction and willingness to travel when needed.
